MOBILISATION
Antero-cranial glide of femur through flexed knee following isometric hold of hip extensors

MOVEMENT
Progressive hip flexion

INDICATIONS
Lumbar pain with, or restriction of, straight leg raise

NOTES

  • Ensure force in popliteal fossa is both anterior as well as cranial
  • Progress hip flexion in series of hold-relax steps
  • Perform only three repetitions on day one
